Mastering Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 13 June 2026

1. Service

Metronics Mastering provides stereo audio mastering services based on the files and instructions supplied by the client. Services are delivered remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing. The standard mastering fee shown on this website applies to one stereo track with a maximum running time of 7 minutes. If a submitted track exceeds 7 minutes in duration, Metronics Mastering reserves the right to apply an additional charge to reflect the extra time, processing, and project scope involved. Where possible, any such additional charge will be confirmed with the client before work begins or continues.

2. Client material

You confirm that you own, control, or have permission to use all audio, samples, and other material supplied for mastering. You remain fully responsible for the legality and clearance of your content.

3. Orders and payment

Orders must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed. Work will normally begin once payment has been received and all required files and notes have been supplied.

4. Turnaround

Standard turnaround is up to 7 days from receipt of payment, audio files, and any necessary project notes. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on workload, file issues, or technical problems.

5. Revisions

One revision is included with the standard per-track mastering service unless otherwise stated. Revisions apply to the originally supplied mix only. If a new or altered mix is provided after delivery, this may be treated as a new job and charged separately.

6. Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed, final masters are delivered as WAV files by email or file-transfer link. It is the client’s responsibility to check delivered files promptly and report any issues within a reasonable time.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Payments are non-refundable once work has started. If a project is cancelled before work begins, a refund may be offered at our discretion. If we are unable to complete the service, any appropriate refund will be limited to the amount paid for that unfinished service.

8. Limitation of liability

Metronics Mastering will provide services with reasonable care and skill, but cannot guarantee any commercial, creative, or technical outcome beyond the mastering service itself. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.

9. Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where files are unsuitable, instructions are abusive or unlawful, or the project falls outside the scope of the service offered.

10. Website content

All text, branding, graphics, and website content remain the property of Metronics unless otherwise stated and may not be copied or reused without permission.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version published on this website will apply to new orders placed after the update date.
